		<description>For nearly 17 years I lived on fewer than four hours of sleep each night, basically for the sake of income. I had a choice, and that's what I chose. I could have gotten other jobs, or made less money, or done any number of things. At that moment, that was my choice.

Anyone who injures himself for profit is unwise. Stupid is more accurate. Anyone who thinks that money is more important than health is deluded. Human beings need between six and eight hours of sleep a night -- that's not me, that's a half century of sleep research. Insufficient sleep results in an ENORMOUS variety of ailments: hypertension, heart disease, ulcers, and potential damage to the immune system.

Stop encouraging people to hurt themselves. You can get away with a lot if you try hard enough, and you can fool yourself into thinking you're bosy is perfectly healthy. That's what I did.

It was stupid.</description>
