I HAVEN’T RECIEVED THE PAYMENTS THAT GOOGLE SAID THEY WOULD (SEE PREVIOUS)

IT’S BEEN A YEAR…AND NO MONEY. I FINALLY REMOVED THEIR AD FROM MY SITE. IT’S TOO BAD, BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE AN HONEST AND PRODUCTIVE ENDEAVOR.

I didn’t notice a decrease of the CTR since the announcement. I suppose the most affected will be those publishers who placed the ad blocks nearby tabs or scrolling bars, hoping people will click by mistake.

I’m tired of the hits and clicks anyway. There is no easy way to make money. I would rather get paid for the number of views of my content. You don’t get much money that way either. You might get 5 cents for 100 views on one article. That’s not right. When I want to get paid, I want to get paid for my hard work. I want to get paid if people love what I do.

Yes les, time will show all, but ppc ads were important for beginner audience because it’s the best way to get some revenue before getting your name out there, I hope the new rules won’t effect the blogging world.

I feel that over the next 5-10 years that pay to click ads will die out altogether. I have written a post on this topic today on my site if anyone is interested in reading it.

I know a lot of publishers are getting a little irritated at the small returns they are making now and removing pay to click ads altogether.
