Changing Your Sleeping Habits - Adjusting to a New Sleeping Schedule

As I’ve just started to work on my day job and also started blogging at the same time, I’ve published a post: How to Sleep Less Time, Work More Time. Creating time for my work and blog at the same time and also have some more time to live was a hard task and I’ve tried to experiment with vitamin pills to adjust my body for less sleep.

Six months have past and I’ve come to realization that adjusting your body depends on adjusting to a new sleeping schedule. I’ve used the vitamins only for a month and then I’ve stopped using them and started getting used to my new sleeping schedule.

I saw 5 hours sleep as an impossible task but considering that I have to wake up at 6 a.m. every morning I needed to survive with less sleep. So I decided to go to bed at 1 a.m. every night. I can also benefit from half an hour sleep on my way to work and half an hour sleep on my way back home. I realized that after the half an hour sleep on my way back home I felt lively all night long. That short sleep just shows the effect of “Power Nap” on me and now I can live with 5 hour sleep (6 with the naps) and feel energetic all night.

Instead of going in a cycle of sleeping less for two days and sleep all day for the next days you should adjust yourself a schedule and stick with it. Our body is capable of adjusting to hard situations.
